Mattress removal in Montreal, professional service priced by volume.
The new mattress arrives tomorrow, the old one is blocking the hallway, and it has to come down three floors on a staircase it barely fits through. We come up to get it, slide it into a cover so nothing gets dirty on the way down, and leave with the mattress and box spring, within 24 to 48 hours, often same-day on weekdays. Whether it's a third-floor walk-up, a condo tower with a freight elevator to book or a bungalow in the East End, you show us which one goes, we do the rest.
What we haul away during your mattress removal
- Twin, double, queen and king mattresses: foam, spring or hybrid
- Box springs and wood or metal bed bases
- Air mattresses, futons and sofa-bed mattresses
- Crib mattresses, baby beds and bunk beds we take apart on site
- Bed frames, headboards and upholstered bases that leave with the mattress
- Stained, sagging or water-damaged mattresses that can no longer be donated
- Bed-bug mattresses, wrapped and sealed in a cover before we carry them out
- Several mattresses at once: rental unit, Airbnb, residence or estate clear-outs
How your mattress removal works
You send a photo of the mattress and box spring through the form, or call 438 230 3808, and we send you a price in under 2 hours. On the day of the appointment, the crew (Pavel, Mickael or Justin) comes up to the bedroom, slides it into a cover to protect your walls and stairs on the way down, then loads the truck. We confirm the price based on the space it takes before we load, and it holds to the end.
Why bring us in for your mattress removal
A single mattress takes little room in the truck, so you pay for the fraction it takes, from the $185 minimum, labour and travel included. No subcontractor: one of the three partners shows up, insured, and gets the mattress out without scuffing your door frames or the stairwell walls. When possible, we send mattresses to dismantling: the spring steel, foam and fabric are separated, and whatever is left is disposed of responsibly. A mattress with bed bugs is wrapped and sealed before it leaves the bedroom.

Read our story
Ramasse Vite was founded in 2025 by three partners: Pavel, Mickael and Justin. Starting out on the South Shore, they shared the belief that junk removal could be reliable, transparent and done right. Ramasse Vite Montréal is the same crew and the same way of working, all over the island.
Our mission is simple: make junk removal and waste pickup effortless for our clients. Whether it's furniture removal, construction debris hauling, a basement or garage cleanout, or a full property clearout, we handle every project with diligence, cleanliness, punctuality, and a genuine environmental urgency. Our crew knows Montreal's realities: plexes and their outdoor staircases, back lanes, tight parking and the July 1st rush.

FAQ: mattress removal in Montreal
Will you take a mattress infested with bed bugs?
Yes. Tell us when you request the quote. We arrive with a cover, then wrap and seal the mattress in the bedroom before carrying it out, so nothing spreads through the hallway or stairs. That mattress goes straight to disposal, not to donation or reuse.
Does an old mattress actually get recycled, or does it just go to the dump?
A mattress in good shape can be donated. For the rest, we aim for dismantling: the spring steel, foam and fabric are separated and recovered, which keeps most of it out of the landfill. Whatever can't be recovered is disposed of responsibly, never to the curb.
I only have one mattress and a box spring. Is it worth calling you?
Yes. Since we charge for the space taken in the truck, a mattress and box spring fill a small fraction, so you stay close to the $185 minimum instead of paying for a full truck. Labour, transport and disposal are all included in that price.
